Does your MLM Company has a Training Program?

While it is true that many MLM companies are offering good or at least some training to their distributors, when it comes to the “online opportunities”, referring to companies that are offering their products online and sign up their new distributors through their website, training is almost non-existent. If you take into consideration that most people that are joining the latter companies are lured by their desire to work an online opportunity and most of them don’t have a clue on how to do it, it is no wonder why most of them will fail. What is more disturbing, is that the same people give more weight to the product, the appeal of the business or the compensation plan and little or no at all to the training it is offered. Add to that that online marketing is a more technical field than traditional word of mouth techniques and it requires some necessary skills and knowledge in order to perform it and training becomes even more valuable.

Something that can offset this, is when your sponsor possesses such knowledge and takes care of your training, or is a member of a whole team that takes the responsibility of training it’s new team members. Sometimes when the whole organization lacks an element, individuals are filling the void.

I think it’s essential for everyone who wants to join an MLM company to do a prior research on what training the company provides to its distributors first and second what his sponsor or his team can teach him in order to become a successful online network marketer.
