Personality Plus - How To Understand Others

A very good book, classic for those involved in MLM and not only, is “personality plus - how to understand others by understanding yourself” by Florence Littauer. In this book the writer classifies people in four categories based on their personality. The four personality types are : sanguine, melancholic, choleric and phlegmatic. These are also know as the four humors and their origin can be traced back to ancient Greek medicine and philosophy.

Florence analyzes these personalities with her own unique and entertaining writing. She gives a lot of examples, but what’s more important she gives instructions on how to recognize its type and behave to them accordingly. As you can understand that can be very powerful for those getting in contact with other people daily, for their business and not only. Even if you work exclusively online, eventually some times you may need to pick up the phone and speak, at least with other team members. You can’t rely all the time on emails.

Beyond the business aspect, it can also help you in your personal life and I know it could be of good use to a lot of people. You can read it very easily as its style is light and once you start reading you forget to put the book down, so it won’t be another boring evening as I believe that you would really enjoy it.
