A Cheap Trick To Avoid

I know that many Network Marketers are desperate to build their MLM business but some of the people out there go to such extremes that you don’t know whether to laugh or pity them. I am sure there are many tricks out there in use but one that came to my attention recently, during a conversation I had with another marketer, is that of using dating sites.

The new and desperate distributor that we were talking about goes to a dating site, creates a profile and then uploads a photo of an extremely sexy young lady or man but females are more preferable as they have more views and are searched by a more hungry group. Now each time someone is interested they send them their autoresponder email address to communicate. When he sends an email to that address is automatically subscribed to a follow up email sequence where they pitch the opportunity. Some even use a free email provider taking advantage of the vacation email reply.

Of course they don’t stop at one profile. They create as much as they can so they can reach even more people.

I don’t know what kind of success they might have but I believe they just wasting their time. Even if they’re getting one or two “victims” once in a blue moon this time and energy spent in that fashion if it was diverted in more reliable and productive lead generation methods it would have paid much much more.

What do they think of? Does this sound to them like a serious and reliable business model to build their organization? Are they so desperate?

I don’t know what they think but I know very well what the rest of us think. Another very nice way to bring infamy to the MLM industry and hurt the efforts of reputable distributors like me and you who try to build a real business which brings value to the market. Those unscrupulous marketers and their dirty tricks and shady methods destroy all of us and the whole industry altogether.
