Using Newspapers To Advertise Your MLM Business

Well, it’s true that the Net is very powerful when it comes to advertising but you should not discount the traditional media and the power they still hold.
But why should you move offline?
Well, not entirely. The web can get you very targeted traffic and you shouldn’t abandon it. But you can gain more by expanding to this old medium and include it in your campaigns.
First of all, it still has greater reach than the Internet. Much more people are reading newspapers than search for keywords related to your business or product online that you can reach. Of course don’t forget that there are still a lot of people without a web connection. People that you can reach by the print media. And of course competition is less fierce there amongst Network Marketers compared to online advertising.
Of course, you have to take into consideration that your audience would not be very targeted, actually not targeted at all, but you can reach more people cheaper. If your product appeals to the general audience needless to say how lucky you are. If it’s target market is very specific, you may do better if you use a magazine targeting that niche.
Another factor to consider is that some people put more trust on things they see on the print media rather on things they see online. And yes this perception also applies to advertisements they see.
The most Important thing when it comes to print advertising, like all other ads, is the title. It should capture the readers attention and to arouse his curiosity so he would go further reading. Of course there are many other details that are medium specific and can increase the results you get if you apply them correctly so your newspaper ads become more compelling.
Other things to consider is the circulation numbers of the paper, it’s audience demographics if available, the section where you are going to put the ad, whether you want to go national or reach a local audience and of course the price.
If you intend to send the reader to your website, you better buy a unique domain name for that purpose and forwarded to your site. In that case you would be able to track how successful your campaign was.
