Leads, Leads, Leads… The lifeblood of every business. The dream of every Network Marketer to have them in abundance. Some would call anyone a lead and try to contact him, some would rely only on those that generate through their own efforts while others would be scared only at the thought of buying them.

As I keep saying all the time, those that you generate them yourself are the most responsive, cheaper, of the highest quality and you can be sure that they are real people with a genuine interest in your business. On the other hand, since it requires a technical know-how in order to do it yourself, many distributors prefer to avoid that, and instead turn to outside sources from where they can be supplied with leads to use for their home business.

There a lot of categories when it comes to purchasing leads and on of them are the real time leads.

As their name implies they are real time, meaning that they were generate at that moment. Usually a prospect fills out a form with his name, email address and whatever else they are asking from him and voila, he becomes a lead now and he is forwarded instantly to you.

Subcategories apply also here as depending on the form they filled can be email, phone, or surveyed ones. Of course, as you move up, the more expensive they become.

Due to their nature you can’t just order and take them instantly. After you place your order you have to wait for them to be generated and can take from days to months. But the good thing is that you have them coming to you the moment they are generated.

When you buy from suppliers make sure that they sell its prospects only once. You don’t want many marketers chasing the same prospect, you want him only for yourself. Furthermore check if they were incentivized to giving their details. Many companies are offering free stuff in exchange and as you understand these are not real prospects but a waste of your time. Additionally you want them delivered to you the same moment they get generated and not in daily batches. Whether you would be able to follow up with them the same moment that’s another question.

Another thing you should check if you want to follow up with them through email is that the seller offers an autoresponder service. That can be very useful as they can be instantly followed up with an email message.

Of course, it is prudent to test your vendors constantly in order to find which one delivers the best quality at the lowest price.
