MLM Opportunity Seekers

While it is true that many opportunity seekers exist in the world today, and a big percentage of them are searching on the Internet for the next opportunity to make money, when it comes to multilevel marketing the number of those actively seeking to join one it gets pretty small.

Yes, it’s true that people who have decided that Network Marketing is their preferable business opportunity and they are searching to participate in one, are very rare and hard to find. I know I didn’t look for one when I joined my first company years ago. I was just looking for something more in my life when I got in touch with my sponsor in a seminar. I also know that most of you came into this through a similar fashion. You weren’t exactly looking for it, but either you were on the mindset of wanting something more in your life or actually searching for something more.

Similarly, thousand others are searching everyday for that something that can change their life and their financial situation, but few are looking to our business model. Out of those few the majority was involved in a company and abandoned it looking for a new one.

As you understand, among them are many who are looking for a hands free easy opportunity to get rich without doing anything. They don’t share your mindset that success is the outcome of a long process that involves hard work and a lot of learning. They are looking for miracles and they believe in luck. But MLM is not a casino or a lottery. It is a business that you build from the ground up. You sweat, you bleed, you curse and sometimes cry, but nothing can describe the feeling when you finally make it. When success didn’t just knock your door, but you traveled to the most distant, wildest, uncharted jungle at the end of the world you captured it and you brought it home.

Of course, they can be people that they weren’t satisfied with the previous company and are looking for something new and they, too, share the same qualities with you and are not afraid of working. Such prospects don’t buy on hype. Don’t forget they have experience in the industry. They know how our business work and they want the facts. They talk business and they expect the same from you or you lost them.

Attracting such people in you organization is the dream of every marketer as they know where they are getting into and can give a big boost to your business.

But where can you find them?

Common sense dictates that they are already looking for you. Not you exactly, but for a new company and sponsor. They use search engines, they visit forums, social networks, and their favorite website and blogs in our industry. All you have to do is to get in front of their eyes whether participating or advertising in those places. But the most difficult part is to convince them. They look around and are more picky.

Don’t forget that they already know that they have to put effort and invest time in order to achieve the results they want, so they want to be certain that they are making the best decision. They want a lot of info before they commit themselves into a new endeavor and they would communicate with many potential sponsors to find the one that suits them.

No matter how much they can help your business and how much sought after they are, the fact remains that they are the hardest prospects to convert and you should plan accordingly when you target them.
