Article Writing Is The Name Outsourcing Is The Game
March 10th, 2008 | by Chris |I wrote before about article marketing and how important can be to get immediate traffic to your website and long-term to help your search engine rankings. It’s something you should do if you take your business seriously. Not that there aren’t other ways to achieve these results without resorting to that particular method, but clearly it’s the most efficient one especially if you are in the beginning.
Of course, sitting down and writing is not everybody’s cup of tea (or coffee
). It’s a creative process and most of us get exhausted at creating content for our website let alone for someone else’s virtual real estate. That’s where outsourcing comes handy, there’s only so much things that you can do yourself and if you want to move your business forward you should start concentrating on the things that matter and you are better at, while delegating more trivial things to others.
Articles used for distribution in order to get backlinks and traffic is one of the things you should consider to outsource. Such articles are not written with a purpose to educate its readers, it’s more like a teaser to draw him to your site where you giving him the real valuable content or you make the sale. After all, those articles sit on someone else’s website and make him money. The prudent thing is to do it to the extend that it helps you too, in traffic or for seo purposes.
Giving your best self on writing articles for others is not in your best interest. Your best content should be used on your own site.
Of course, some times quality articles that submitted to directories may find their way to “authority” sites helping you a lot in seo and traffic. A better tactic is, among the cookie cutter written for volume generic articles, to throw in some of very good quality that would have a chance to get picked a lot and brand yourself as an outstanding expert.

So when it comes to articles there’s three categories to distinguish them.
1. Generic low to medium quality for distribution.
2. High quality well written articles for distribution.
3. Your killer content of the highest quality and value for your own website.
On your road-map to outsourcing as you grow your business you start from the category 1 and you move up. The last stage would be to hire writers for writing content for your webpages.
Of course, if you only run an opt-in page to gather leads or a sales page the third category doesn’t apply to you.
If you don’t have the economic resources to run your business as a manager from the beginning, as your income grows you should outsource as much as you can afford, starting from the less important and things that you are not good at doing, and move all the way up. Your destination should be to build a real business, a business that runs itself without your interference and would generate passive income for you.
It’s a real long time process, but it really worth the time and effort you put in to generate such an asset.
