Outsource To Avoid The Death Of Your Business

We talked last time about outsourcing and why you need to do it, at least for the article writing aspect of your business. Of course, it shouldn’t stay only there, you should expand it to every part of your business. If your budget doesn’t allow you to do it everywhere from the beginning, start from what you are not good at and various trivial and counterproductive but necessary tasks, and gradually move to include more in your outsourcing list.

You’re an entrepreneur and your mission is to build a business and not a work for yourself. You are not trying to become a self-employed but rather build an asset that can generate residual income for you. By hiring out you are giving more time to yourself in order to do the more important thing. You are giving more time to yourself to concentrate on building your business rather than running your business.

And one thing is sure, you can’t do both at the same time. You may be able to handle both at the beginning but as you grow it would become impossible to balance inside you the entrepreneur that is building and the worker that is working. The work load will kill you. You would become so exhausted and tired that it would start feeling like you’re in a prison no matter how much you loved it when you were beginning or how strong your “why” is.

That is the reason that most small business fail, and a great percentage of those that survive their owners have accepted that they would become slaves to them, and they only hope to a good and generous retirement to get compensated for sacrificing their life and their most productive and creative years chasing a chimera.

Don’t let it happen to you. Don’t let the work routine and workload destroy your creativity. At the first sign that you are losing the balance you should outsource. The best strategy should be to always be a step ahead and program what you would hire out before you reach the point of losing the balance.
