Give Rewards To Yourself For Your Small Accomplishments

A very good way to motivate yourself and condition it to work harder and smarter towards achieving your goals is to reward him for your accomplishments. And I am not talking for reward upon completion of an end long-term goal, but for your small achievements also.

Many times you would have to complete hard, boring and tedious tasks that won’t give immediate results to your MLM business, but they are necessary stepping stones for your overall success and intermediate steps for the completion of your bigger projects. In order to avoid the escaping and postponing syndrome that develops inside you when you face such hurdles, or at least to diminish it, you need to use the power of rewards.

Each time you reward yourself for doing something you are conditioning your brain. You associate the work with a small pleasure and you increase the likelihood of repeating it in the future successfully. Deep inside, you start liking doing the necessary work and actually looking forward to it, all because of a small reward.

Have you ever promised something to a kid in exchange for siting and being quite or doing some job? Did you notice how easily complied only because he really wanted badly what you promised to him?

Well, if such a trick can work for a child imagine what it can do for yourself.

But the real trick is to keep that promise.

Do you know why the kid complies so easily?

Because he believes you. The moment you promise him something, he knows he will get it. For the kid is like being in front of him already. As a side-note when you promise something to a child always keep it, it’s the worst lesson he can get to see an adult he knows breaking his word to him. I don’t tell to spoil them, but never give empty promises just to have them comply.

Similarly you have to keep such promises to yourself. When connect a reward with a certain task you want to work, is like a promise to yourself. Always keep it if you want that method to remain effective. The best approach is to have it written like a contract with yourself to keep you accountable and in check.

Of course you don’t need to overdo it and use it for every single thing you do, or once you used it for a certain task which is repetitive to keep rewarding yourself every time you repeat it. Work on a case to case basis when you are attaching a reward to a task.
