Article Marketing and your Online MLM business

I wrote many times before how beneficial for your online MLM business is the article marketing, the writing and distribution of articles through directories like ezinearticles and many others that exist on the web today. Especially if you have a website it can give you some SEO (search engine optimization) benefits besides the direct traffic from those that read your articles.

The sad thing is that when I visit the article directories and check the names of the recently submitted ones I see the same and the same names again that consistently submit. Once in a while for a change I may see a new name just to break the pattern. Well, that think can only mean three things, either most marketers have found more advanced ways to promote and advertise their Internet MLM business, like PPC (pay per click), or have gone niche and write about their products to attract customers, or the most probable they do nothing.

This is very sad as article writing is a free method to promote your home based business that anyone can learn to do it. It takes no money, unless you decide to outsource it and hire ghostwriters, but only your time and effort. Some may argue here that time is a great constraint as most distributors are working jobs full time and have little time to spare on activities that can help their MLM network marketing business grow. Or that writing an article is not an easy task that anyone can do it as it takes skill and even being a college graduate in order to write a compelling article that can do its job, namely to drive traffic to your website.

Although I do recognize that writing is not something that anyone can start doing tomorrow for first time and being successful with it, it’s not an impossible feat that only a few can accomplish. It is a skill. It is something that you can learn by practice. And we are not talking here about writing a novel or getting a prize in literature. We don’t ask you to become a professional writer. Just to be able to put your thoughts and ideas in a few sentences that can communicate your message to your reader. Simple words and simple vocabulary as if you were talking in person to him. Not something fancy and extravagant that can fascinate your reader and capture his admiration for your writing style. In fact doing the second sometimes can hurt you more than it can help you.

Think about magazines and newspapers for average readers. Not the editorial or opinion, where some snob individual tries to write like a Nobel laureate in literature, but the inside section written in plain English that anyone can understand. How difficult is to write like this? Anyone who has finished high-school can do it. If not very well in the beginning, with practice he can improve his writing skill and style and decrease the amount of time he needs in order to finish it. And that can show up on the increased number of visitors that come to your website you have set up for your online MLM opportunity.

As about the lack of time, there are many network marketers that waste time on various Internet MLM forums, in which they never post but only read, and reading industry news that have nothing to do with their multilevel marketing opportunity and that information is of no help to them. Not to mention how many waste time in front of the TV set for their entertainment. If only they would allocate a portion of that time to their article marketing efforts they would have left 95% of their competition behind.

I see a lot of people in MLM trying to spam forums and waste time everyday in methods that cannot get them results. If they were to put just some little more effort and concentrate to write something useful that could help their multi level marketing business and their sales in the long term, we wouldn’t have such high numbers of attrition and people who fail to make their dream come true of building their own home business that can liberate them from their job.

But even in the case that someone don’t want to learn how to write, nor want to find time to learn how, there is always outsourcing. Paying a ghostwriter to write articles for them is money well spent, although I would advice to avoid the very cheap ones and go for some quality.

An MLM business it doesn’t stop being a business because it’s open and affordable to anyone. And every business has some operating expenses. If you can’t find the time to work your business then you should spend the equivalent in money in order to help it grow. And it’s not only about article marketing but for any other advertising and promotional method, too.

You have to pick some promotional methods that you want to use and put money to work for you there if you can’t or don’t want to do the work yourself. Article marketing is one of the best as besides the traffic it gives you credibility. Imagine someone Googling your name and finding many articles written from you to websites all over the Internet. What impression would he get from that. He would think of you as someone worthy to join under in your MLM business opportunity. Someone that knows a lot about the network marketing industry that can greatly help him succeed in starting his own home based multilevel marketing business.

Can you see what boosting it can do to your online MLM recruiting efforts the article marketing? It can help you pose yourself as an expert in the eyes of your prospects. As someone that knows what he is doing. Wouldn’t you rather join under such a person if you were in his shoes? It does make sense why article marketing can be a pivotal promotional method to your online MLM success, doesn’t it?
