The Three Sources of your MLM Training

You don’t need me to tell you how important is the subject of MLM training for a distributor. Especially if you are new to network marketing with no business experience, you have to learn from somewhere the things you are supposed to do in order to build your network marketing home business correctly and become successful. But even the experienced member of a multilevel marketing opportunity needs to constantly learn new things in order to not left behind. Things change all the time and besides, resting on your laurels is the worst thing that you can do. Education is an ongoing process as I said many times before and you can never neglect it if you want to continue being successful.

But what are the sources from where you can get MLM Training?

Actually there are three of them and the best route for a distributor is to start from the first one and them move to the next after he have learned everything available at each stage.

The first source is the training that MLM Companies provide to their distributors. They have great reasons to do so as you are the one promoting their products. They want to see you successful because the more products you sell the more money they make. There is no greater motivator than this one, is there? So they provide to you free MLM training to help you learn the basics, but necessary, things so you can start doing something in network marketing and start getting an income no matter how small at the beginning.

Of course the things you learn from the network marketing company are very basic and introductory. They won’t transform you into a heavy-hitter and great leader in multilevel marketing. As we said it is only the beginning, just to get you started and start seeing some money. The good thing is they don’t leave any gaps and help you lay your foundations as they know that most of their distributors have no experience and knowledge on MLM.

Not all companies of course offer training and sometimes they also insist on practices like prospecting to your warm market and make a list of friends and relatives in order to contact them and present the opportunity to them. I have wrote many times about that practice in the past and how it’s not going to help you to succeed in network marketing. So be selective on what you are going to get from their seminars and MLM training materials. Not every practice they teach is beneficial to you and your home business.

Your second source of training is no one else but Your Sponsor. The man or woman that introduce you to the multi level marketing opportunity and would become your mentor and personal coach that would help you build your home based business. A part of his responsibilities to you is to also give you MLM network marketing training that can help you succeed. What he is going to teach to you comes from his experience. That kind of knowledge is very useful and valuable as it comes from his working on the field and is very practical and not only theories.

Your sponsor has also a great incentive to help you and teach you everything he knows, as the more successful you become yourself the more money he makes. It’s a win-win situation that ensures that he is never going to hold back something from you, no secret techniques and methods that would keep only for himself. All his knowledge that he has accumulated all these years in the business would become yours too, in the right time of course.

In case your sponsor is also new, you might be wondering what network marketing MLM training is supposed to be giving to you when he is as much in need for it as you are. That is a reasonable question for you to ask, but don’t forget that your sponsor is not alone. He has his sponsor too and a whole upline above to help him, train him, and support him. In such cases much of your training comes from someone above both of you that has the required experience and knows his subject well. That things are not unusual in multilevel marketing where the team concept is very strong. So don’t worry about how are you supposed to get your MLM success training in cases like that.

Of course you need to do your homework before joining a network marketing opportunity yourself and make sure that there is a strong team behind your sponsor that is going to help and support both of you. The multilevel marketing business is a team game and without a strong one behind you things are going to be tough for you.

The third source of multi level marketing training comes from everything else that is out there from third parties. Books, ebooks, seminars, and other training courses that can add to the knowledge you got so far and expand it even further. Your sponsor and his upline don’t know everything and there is always something new and useful to get form other sources too. But of course, before you get into learning from other sources, make sure you know everything that your upline has teach you.

Of course it’s not only MLM training that you can get from third parties. Everything in business, leadership, and personal development can also be helpful to you for expanding your network marketing home based business. Even courses on Internet marketing can be useful to you if you are building an online MLM.

Obviously the best MLM training you get it from your upline and third parties, but unfortunately there are many distributors that joined into opportunities under people who didn’t have a strong team behind them. In such cases you don’t need to start searching for new sponsor and multilevel marketing opportunity. Try to learn through the third way directly and start building your own strong team by becoming the leader you always wanted to have as your sponsor.

You also have to remember at this point that just plain MLM training cannot automatically turn you into a successful and rich distributor. You also have to apply what you learn otherwise it’s useless. There are a lot of spectators in multilevel marketing and the make money niche in general. They buy books and courses and they read all the time about the successes and accomplishments of the others without ever getting into action and start doing something for themselves that can change their life and their financial future. Don’t become one of them.
