The Key to MLM Prospecting is Advertising
November 14th, 2008 | by Chris |A lot of network marketers when it comes to building their downline are indoctrinated in obsolete methods like the warm market and talk to everyone you find. Unfortunately in this century things like that don’t work for the majority of distributors unless you happen to be a great extrovert character, an excellent orator and an extraordinary persuader.
Whether we like it or not most people don’t posses those characteristics and qualities so they are destined to fail if the follow that way. Clearly, almost nobody likes to pitch his friends and relatives with his opportunity or even more talking to strangers he meet outside only to market to them.
So how can the average distributor build his business then?
Well, the answer to this is advertising, of course. The only way to avoid messing with his warm market is to advertise in media that people with an interest in his business opportunity may read, listen, or watch. People that are already looking for what he has to offer to them.
Multilevel marketing is not what most people think about. Is not bugging people who have no interest in your product or your opportunity. Is about getting in front of the eyes of people who have a desire for what you are about to offer them.
It’s no secret that trying to work the other way is just a waste of your precious time and a sure way to lose friends or alienate them from you. Be a real businessman or businesswoman and try to build your business on solid foundation. Use efficient and modern ways to grow your organization and don’t resort to methods that are tested and proven that they don’t work.

Advertising is the key to your success. Without it you are doomed to fail. Our age is very competitive and does not forgive those left in the dreams of the past. Those who deny to change and confront the reality in front of them, but rather prefer to hide behind what worked in the past or “that’s how we used to it here and it served us well” would have a very difficult time.
