MLM Blogs as Lead Generation Machines
January 22nd, 2009 | by Chris |Starting your own MLM blog is one of the best ways for promoting yourself, your business opportunity, and for generating leads. Through your blog your prospects have the chance to know you better as you can put a more personal tone and you have the chance to establish trust with them by seeing you as someone that knows his subject and are capable to help them succeed with this business model. Furthermore you can use an optin form for your readers to subscribe to your newsletter and by mailing them regularly to cultivate the relationship you have with your readers-prospects even more.
The best platform for starting blogging is the Wordpress. Of course the best option is to host it yourself and skip the free option at wordpress.com. That can give you more control and shield you from unexpected events like someone taking down your blog because he thinks that it doesn’t comply with their term of services.
But let’s see some advantages that blogs have.
Lead Generation Tips - How I Generate MLM Leads With Blogs by Justin Pichora
A massive flow of leads equals massive success, eventually. Sure, there’s other aspects to building a down line like how to talk to people and how to lead them to success, but most people that fail don’t even get to that stage. My philosophy is if you have enough practice leading and talking to prospects you will eventually get great at it. And the only way to get practice with those aspects is by generating an abundance of leads. All too often it’s thought that you can only generate leads through paid medians like Google AdWords, but there are alternative ways that can prove to be even more successful. I would like to focus on generating MLM leads with blogs right now.
One of the main advantages blogs have over a traditional static page is the fact that you can easily update your blog and inform the search engines that your website has been updates with the click of a button. Google loves fresh content and will reward you for it. This cannot be done with your traditional static page. Instead of talking up blogs and their benefits lets get right into the strategies that are going to help you get the most out of them.

The best place to set up a blog is wordpress. This is free and can be hosted by you or by wordpress. It’s recommended that you host them yourself because Google will like it more. The next phase is to make a post that is similar to a squeeze page. That is the foundation for your blog. You want to make additional posts to your blog 2 to 3 times per week and ping each post. You can find a ping list by searching for one on Google. You should post good content but it doesn’t always have to be yours. Take videos from YouTube and other peoples’ articles and post them to your blog just make sure you give them credit for it. Next make sure your blog has an opt in form on the right hand side of every page so that no matter what page your traffic goes to they have the option of becoming a lead.
Once you have your blog setup it is now ready to become a full fledged lead capture page all you have to do is drive traffic to it. This is a lot easier to do with a blog. In fact you will start to see traffic and leads just by posting new content and pinging each post.

Is it working for you? Like say now, since I happened to go through your blog, am I part of it? Lol.
Okay, sure you can use your blog as a lead generator but the question is, how many leads can it generate, really? Unless you’ve got a high ranking on search engines, I don’t think leads from this are sufficient. But I must agree, they help AND give you leads that are genuinely interested in whatever it is you’re offering.
