Online MLM Promotion with Articles

If you are into online MLM and you have a blog or a website that you use to promote your opportunity or the company’s products one of the best ways to generate traffic to your sites is by writing articles and distributing them through article directories. Unlike any other form of paid advertising its effects are residual as traffic would keep coming from old articles while you keep distributing more. More than that all that links pointing back to your website can give you a great boost in your search engine rankings something that would give you even more visitors.

These visitors that are coming to your MLM blog or website after reading an article or through search engines usually are very good candidates for you network marketing business opportunity. They convert better and cost you only in terms of time as no money is required unless you decide to outsource the article writing to ghost-writers. Especially these hard economic times that most people want to save money and pay their debts, article marketing is the best way to promote your multilevel marketing opportunity for free and get great results by doing this if you are not in the mood to spend money on advertising.

Of course you may argue here that writing isn’t exactly something that most people are good at. Especially if you want also to keep your readers’ interest and make them follow your link at the bottom of the article to your website. But writing is nothing more than a skill. No one is born good at it, but people learn it by practicing. The more you write the better you become at writing. It is not a matter of talent that many people will tell you, but only a matter of practice. So if you really want to become good at it you should practice, practice, and then practice some more.

I may overused the word practice, but it was only for giving emphasis as this is exactly what you have to do. There is a widespread mentality that some things are just a matter of talent and you are either good at them or not and that limiting belief I try to overcome here as really all you have to do is start writing more and eventually you would become good at it.

I wasn’t good at writing myself but when I got into online MLM and after reading at various Internet marketing forums how useful it was in generating traffic and in terms of SEO I decided to Start doing it. In the beginning I was needing 4 to 5 hours for a less than 350 words article, but I kept writing and writing until I got to the point that I can easily write an 1000 – 1200 word article within an hour. I may not writing masterpieces, but that’s not my purpose and neither is yours.

Your purpose is to write an article in plain English that can pass your message to your reader. We are not writing literature.

Of course if you don’t have the time or acquiring a new skill doesn’t excite you that much and you prefer to allocate your time, energy, and resources to other parts of your MLM business there’s always a solution. What you can’t or don’t want to do yourself you can always outsource it. Hire someone to write articles for you, put your name on them and then distribute them to article directories.

There are many places online that you can use to hire writers for writing a certain number of articles for you. You can find very cheap ones that charge around 5 dollars per article, but in my opinion you better pay some more in order to get a good quality article. From my experience quality always wins over quantity. Although at the beginning I believed that having more articles out there was better I started seeing that I got better results from the quality articles I was writing. So I suggest you do the same whether you write them yourself or you outsource them.

Now the second part after the writing is the distribution of your MLM articles. There are article directories that you can submit them and after they get approved they appear on this site and other webmasters can republish them in their websites provided that they do not change them and leave your resource box, where the link back to your site is, intact.

A good quality article has more chances to get picked by other webmasters for republishing giving you more readers and more backlinks to your MLM website or blog. That is why I told that quality wins over quantity.

Such article directories are ezinearticles and isnare, but there are much more smaller ones that you can use. But the more you go down the list the less effective they become. Having your article to as many as you can may be a good thing, but you can’t spend all day submitting your articles left and right. You have an MLM home business to run and so you have to do your best with your limited time. Find a few good one directories and stick to them, no need to go even further unless you have plenty of time to waste. But remember time wasted there may be proven more productive and yield you better results if spent elsewhere.

So if you don’t have the money to outsource that task get yourself to writing from today and practice to become better. In the beginning it would seem to you very hard to almost impossible to complete an article, but after writing a few ones you would get used to it. The trick here is not to write a few ones and then stop for some weeks or months until you get back to it again. You have to keep the momentum. Write at least one article per week to sustain your current level and at least two per week to keep improving your skills.
