Take Charge of your MLM Home Based Business

An MLM home based business is a full time commitment that someone has to make if he really wants to succeed. You need to put aside some time every day and really work it doing the necessary things that would help it grow and prosper in the future. Those things don’t need to be hard and complicated but simple everyday actions well thought and planned that can make the difference and help a network marketing business expand.

Unfortunately, most people that join a multilevel marketing opportunity never take the time to work their home business and they just wait and expect it to grow by itself or through the actions of their sponsor and upline. But unfortunately no such thing as a free meal exists in this world and if you want to get something you have first to give something, in our case work and effort.

That’s the way that businesses and fortunes are build and no one can escape from that rule. Overcoming your natural laziness and getting the self-discipline needed to move yourself to action is the necessary ingredients to your MLM business success. The choice is yours as well as the rewards that comes from taking action.

Controversy, Dirt or an Honest Opinion? You know what they say, people are talking.

I guess we should define lazy. The dictionary term defines it as: resistant to work, slow or sluggish; disposed to idleness.

Lazy is not always a bad word, it is something that we like to become on a Sunday after 5 or 6 straight 12 hour days of really hard work.

It has been brought up a time or two by the rest of the industrialized world that Americans are lazy. The conception is that we are over-paid, and are only productive for about 4 hours of an 8 hour day and still get paid for eight hours.

Whether that applies to you or not is not the point, the point is, that is how we are conceived. We have been programmed for that since birth. And it does apply to many of the population.

I tend to disagree to a point with the rest of the world. I think that when Americans find a job or career that they are passionate about, we excel more than the rest of the world. That is why we are the foremost leading industrial nation in the world, and we didn’t get that way by being lazy.

Unfortunately there are many people in America that don’t have that great job and aren’t full of passion about it and do the bare minimum to get buy and collect a paycheck to pay the bills.

So how does all of this correlate with participating in a home based business through a network marketing company? That is easy to dissect. I will be happy to explain.

You see when Americans go to work in the public sector; they go through a process to get the job. They are interviewed; give a resume full of education, experience and recommendations. When all of the requirements are met they are hired.

Upon hiring, they are given their hours and daily work load to be completed. They are further trained for their position on top of any vocational or college education and then are told what their hourly or salaried wage will be, and expected to work hard.

They are told how many sick days, personal days and vacation days they will get in a calendar year. And will be told when they can take the vacation days and how many at a time.

This is all accepted and so is the pay, which all positions come with. Then we work 40 hours a week for that pay, and accept it as normal because that is what we are taught since childhood.

Unless you are one of the lucky ones that have that stellar job and earning between a 6 and 7 figure income, most people become aggravated with their job and their income and would like to make more.

That is when people go searching for more income and either take on a part time job or take a look at a home based business. Today more than ever in our history people are taking to the home based business industry, not just to supplement their income but to replace it.

A part time job means more hours for less pay and more time spent away from home and family, and that is what most people are looking to avoid.

Now back to being lazy, and I say this with respect. Most people view a home based business in a totally different way than a regular 9 to 5 job. What I mean by that is that far too many people get sucked into the hype and hoopla that has drawn them into joining their company and think that after they have signed up, the check will be arriving in the mail every week without having to put forth any effort or work.

In retrospect, a home based business is now your job and is a legitimate business and you must put forth the same effort if not more than the 9 to 5 job. The enormous difference is that now you are your own boss, making your own hours, working from home and can give yourself endless raises, go on vacation whenever, call in sick whenever and have the potential to make unlimited income.

What baffles me the most is that the average marketer is presented with this golden opportunity or what I consider the job of a lifetime and then they sit on it and do nothing, largely due to the fact that they are inexperienced marketers and don’t really know what to do with their businesses.

And dare somebody mention training, No! No! That is taboo; my company says I don’t need it. First of all that is just silly and 2nd of all there is no company on the planet that does not want and employee, associate or partner to learn more and become more productive and make themselves and the company more money.

In your present 9 to 5 job, you didn’t bat an eyelid at training or even the vocational school or college expenses that you incurred to get the proper skills to get that $0.50 raise or promotion, so why do 95% of marketers look at network marketing training and say, I can’t afford that? The truth of the matter is that you can’t afford not to, unless of course you have no desire to make significant income, and want to squander your golden opportunity and forever curse network marketing.

So, are you lazy? I promise I won’t call you that. Just look in the mirror or better yet look at your home based business earnings statement and you decide.
